Hey Guy! Season 4 Announcement!

Hey Guy! Season 4 will be uploaded in its entirety on December 20, 2012.  The new season will not be without changes.  As with every season of Hey Guy!, there will be a new location, but this season offers a change in cast as well.  Joining David C. Roberson (me) in Season 4 will be Spencer Roeder, a face that may be familiar to you if you happened to see his contributions in earlier Maladjusted projects (links will be provided below).

Title Card for Hey Guy! Season 4

Hey Guy! Season 4 stars David C. Roberson and Spencer Roeder in an improvisational comedy web series

When we last left Hey Guy!, the main guy (David C. Roberson) decided to leave his buddy of the 2nd and 3rd season (Jason Goss) with a mountain of debt and legal charges (all of which he caused) to pursue retirement in Florida where he would spend an undetermined amount of time (“about a week”) with an old friend.  And that’s where season 4 kicks off.

For those not aware, Hey Guy! is a web series created by David C. Roberson, and it is completely improvised.  There is no script, and no cuts within any given episode.  Given the improvisational nature of the program, there is no set time for an episode, nor are there a set number of episodes in any season. There will be 29 episodes in Season 4.

Late Halloween Specials…

So it’s November 4th, and I’m still kicking myself for not having the Maladjusted Halloween Special complete. Or as it’s actually called, “The First Annual Maladjusted Half-Hour Halloween Variety Special”…  It is finally completed as of about 30 seconds ago, all rendered, exported, and ready to be uploaded to the inter webs.  I remain extremely doubtful that anyone will actually sit through 30 minutes, but it seemed a fun project to tackle, and my new rule is, “Stop thinking so much about metrics, internet users, and SEO and JUST PRODUCE CONTENT YOU ENJOY!”  So that’s what’s happening now.

Along with the 30 minute Special, I’ll also be posting 3 new comedy sketches.  One is a “lost” Halloween episode of Hey Guy! That takes place around season 2.  Another is a very strange comedic short film called El Muerto en Español… and the last is a Batman parody sketch called Batman: The Short Halloween.  All three are included in the 30-minute special.  The reason for posting them separately is for those people who don’t want to sit down for 30 minutes to watch our weird crap for that long.  There are other bits in the 30 minute piece.  Actually, quite a bit more.  But these seemed good to also show as single videos.  Especially considering the 30 minute special has a laugh track.  Yeah. We went there.  Anyway, these will be posted some time tonight!

Batman & Star Trek Parodies, Plus More Video Diaries & Curmudgeon’s Perspective Coming Your Way

Hi, all.
Dave here with a small update.  I’ve been hard at work editing Batman Vs. The Economy, a fun little parody sketch that Jason Goss and I devised about a year ago.  There have been many obstacles in our path, but I believe you will be seeing it sometime next week.  In addition to that video, you should also be seeing Maladjusted Video Diary # 3 popping up around the same time.  As for what’s coming down the road, Maladjusted is looking to weight itself with geek cred by producing a couple of Star Trek parodies and brand new episodes of The Curmudgeon’s Perspective.  Not enough?  Hey Guy! Season 4 is already shot, and I’ll have that posted in full come December.  Do us a favor and get the word out! Share, comment, and subscribe where ever you can, and let us know what you think of our content:-)
